What exams can Iris Imaging perform on‑site? Abdominal & renal, vascular & Doppler studies, cardiac (transthoracic echocardiogram), women's health (pelvic/transvaginal), thyroid/neck/soft tissue, and men's health (testicular/scrotal). See the full services list for clinical indications.
How do I place an order? Send the order by email day before the scheduled date. Our sonographer then schedules a visit to your office at a time that works for your office and results are posted back to the portal, your office email and fax.
Does my practice need to buy any equipment? No. Iris Imaging supplies the sonographer, the ultrasound equipment, and the reporting portal. You never hire staff, pay benefits, or purchase equipment — the exam, the results, and the revenue stay with your practice.
How are results delivered? Reports are posted directly to your physician portal at ik.emsow.com, ready to add to the chart. New practices can request portal login credentials when they place their first order.
How should patients prepare for their scan? Many studies require no patient prep at all, which keeps scheduling simple. For studies that do require prep (such as fasting before an abdominal ultrasound), we'll provide exam‑specific instructions when the order is placed.
Do you serve correctional facilities or nursing homes, not just physician practices? Yes. The same on‑site model that serves physician practices extends to correctional facilities/detention centers and nursing homes or long‑term care communities — settings where transporting a patient off‑site for imaging is often costly, difficult, or disruptive.
